Friday night activities began on Friday night, surprisingly, the 23rd February 2006.
The new table-tennis table provided by the men's group was inaugurated by Fr Tibor
and Joe.
We also had fun playing some of the games, but we didn't have time on the first
evening of its kind to try all the other activities available. These included
some of the following: rummy, scrabble, cribbage, miniature snooker, carpet bowls,
bar skittles, indoor croquet, darts, go-cart racing, clay pigeon shooting, hang
gliding, bungee jumping and dominoes.
Please note that while it is hoped that most of these and even more activities will be
available on future Fridays, because of the limited space in the classroom it will
not be possible to have all these activities each time.
Friday nights
In a change to previous year's custom and practice, St Patrick's night will be celebrated
on St Patrick's night this year and on that night we will be celebrating St Patrick,
apparently.
Because we are limited in the numbers in the hall, entry will be by tickets.
